Bentek Solar’s Multiple Disconnect Safety System (MDSS) has been certified by two of the PV industry’s leading testing bodies, CSA International and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The award of UL’s 1741 listing and CSA's 22.2 certification enable Bentek to guarantee safe operation of its 1000VDC MDSS.

“The 1000VDC MDSS is designed and manufactured for large utility scale projects. We are pleased with the overall market acceptance and customer response,” Betnek’s president and CEO, Mitch Schoch, said.

“Our Multiple Disconnect Safety Systems are intended for installation next to the inverter. The MDSS provides customers with multiple UL 1000VDC load-break disconnects combined in one safe, compact, easy-to-install enclosure,” added Jim Peplinski, the chief technology officer at the San Jose-based balance of systems design and manufacturing firm.
