The middle part of Beijing Metro Line 14 will open by the end of the year. The 16 km railway will be finished in late June and stops along the line have been finished.

 

A five km section in the Lize business district won't be put into use until 2019.

 

Starting from Shangezhuang in northeastern Beijing, the L-shaped Line 14 runs southward to Beijing University of Technology, then westward to Shilihe and finally reaches Zhangguozhuang in Fengtai district.

 

The line is divided into three parts. The western part that comprises of seven stops opened in May 2013 and the eastern part that runs through 12 stops put into use in late 2014.
